In one corner is the 78-year-old Independent, whose unwavering support by the under-30 crowd is matched only by his hollow promises of grand, systemic change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"32d4\">In the other corner is the 78-year-old moderate, whose consistent bumbling, gaffe-prone performances reveal a candidate who is no less than eight years past his prime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"1fb8\">Awaiting the victor is the 70-something-year-old unabashed liar and showman, whose contempt for facts is matched only by his consistent failure to provide information beyond exaggerations and equivocations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"8647\">In other words, I\u2019m looking forward to 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>And then there were two.
