XXXV
I turned 35 years old on Wednesday. It feels pretty much the same as 34 and 33. It has dawned on me- I am probably at the midpoint of my life. That thought is somewhat heavy but does not scare me or get me down, though. Actually, it brings a smile to my face. A lot has gone on in 35 years. Hell, I should not have made it past 26 after I fell 30 ft from an overpass. I’m stubborn. I’m still breathing.
I look forward to the next 35 and wonder what’s in store. The possibilities are endless. Regardless, I’ll work hard to be the best son, brother, friend, and who knows what else, I can be.
