-Last night, a reporter from NPR’s Newshour interviewed Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Acting Director Mark Morgan. I feared the dude was going to hyperventilate while he discussed the deportation of illegal immigrants. I thought, “Relax. Take a breath, bro.” Mr. Morgan is fully on-board with fear-mongering and misinformation when it comes to the nuanced issue of immigration.
-The D.C. Court of Appeals determined that they will not extend a job offer to me. Thus, I have decided to pursue a career in writing. The law practice of Matthew Sullivan LLC will focus primarily on appeals and other post-verdict matters. I will also make myself available for ghostwriting of appeals, memos, motions, etc., and Bluebooking/editing/proofreading.

-The Philadelphia Phillies were enjoyable to watch in April and May, but the club is no longer fun. The team has been crushed with injuries to integral players, ex., McCutcheon, the majority of the bullpen, but injuries do not exonerate the team. A majority of the team is unlikeable. Bryce Harper is paid $300+ million and is one of only a handful of dudes who hustle. I suspect there will be a new skipper for the 2020 season.
