Today, I saw a headline in a national sports publication that read, “Vikings Withstand Furious Comeback.” What the hell is a “furious” comeback? How does it differ from a polite comeback?

Word choice is important. And reading that headline reminded me to meticulously edit my compositions and delete clichés or extraneous words.
